Another Tilda card which I made earlier this week, it was for a challenge but it didn't quite work out for that so I used it for this card. The Tilda is stamped and coloured and I have matted her onto ovals cut with Nestabilities dies. I have added a few touches of glitter and used a black glaze pen on the poppers on her shoes.
Marlou has just reminded me of Samm's Birthday candy so if it's ok with Samm I will enter this card. happy Birthday to Samm and don't forget to pop over to her blog and see the fab cards she makes.
Yesterday morning when we took the dog out we noticed this icicle on the bin but we can't figure out how it was formed as there is nothing above it. Has anybody got any ideas?
Beautiful card...
ReplyDeleteIcicle how weird is that perhaps it's part of a spiders web, the way it's stading on a slant!!!!
kinda spooky though....
I came out this moring to put bins out and found a little foam of bubbles as if someone had chucked their washing up bowl of water away and left behind the bubbles....very strange all on it's own!!!
i think I know: I think it formed around a spider wire which then broke because of the weight of the ice.
ReplyDeleteshe is gorgeous Andrea, great card with fabby coloured paper behind!
ReplyDeletethat icicle is amazing, I have no ideas, sorry, never seen anything like it!
Great card! Re the icicle, did you have a really high windchill factor? LOL Nature is most bizarre at times. ;o)
ReplyDeleteweird icicle Andrea!! {lol} but a beautiful Tilda card, you should put it in for Samm's birthday card challenge??? :) x
ReplyDeleteanother lovely card Andrea. As to that weird icicle, I asked DH to come take a look but we both agreed it was strange!
ReplyDeleteno idea about the icicle {looks funky though!}
ReplyDeletegorgeous card, as ever :)
Lovely card, such pretty colours.
ReplyDeleteReally strange icicle, the spider web theory sounds possible, other than that I guess you'll have to put it down to one of those things nature creates that you can't explain!
oooh you really know how to make the best of those Tilda stamps Andrea...love your card for Samm.
