Magnolia Card + A New Toy
I finally decided to get myself a mini sewing machine so I could stitch on cards, I didn't want to ruin my big one!! I got this one from Argos and it's fab. I haven't had much time to play with it today as I've been doing some cleaning but it stitches lovely and is nice and easy to use.
I've made this Tilda card using some new paper and flowers which I got yesterday, it's a real change from my normal colours but I think I like it!! Tilda has been stamped and coloured with Prismacolors and Sansador and I've added some
glitter for a bit of sparkle and piece of organza ribbon. I have zigzag stitched the 2 pieces of paper together, if you click on the pic you can see it better.
Have a good day!

  1. You card looks great and a mini sewing maching just for cards, how wonderful. Know what you mean about your regular maching I sew and have been afraid to use mine on paper, think it is time for a mini for me.

  3. Hi Andrea, I've missed so many gorgeous creations on your blog, I love your new present to yourself!! Great card too, I like the new colour scheme you have gone for. Many thanks for the stamped images you sent me, I'm not sure I left enough white space around the ones I've done for you so I may do them again.

  20. Great card, love the lilac & lime below too!

I ruined my big machine using card. I have a 24 year old singer that still looks brand new & will be getting it serviced soon so I can make curtains again!!!
Meanwhile my mini is missing the electric pedal!!

  29. Your card is too cute and your sewing is very neat! I've made attempts to sew on my larger sewing machine and my seams always turn out crooked. Maybe I should consider buying a new toy also. (hehe)
