Grant's Birthday Card
It was Grant's birthday on the 24th March and I just realised today that I haven't put his card on my blog so here it is!! I have used this fab Greetings Farm stamp and some Kaisercraft papers. The image is coloured with Distress Inks and I have left the rest of the card quite plain, as Grant is definitely a no fuss type of boy (guess I should say teenager now).
I still haven't used any of my goodies from the NEC as I was busy yesterday and Doug took me, Grant, Al and Kez out for a drive round Derbyshire today and then out to lunch - oatcakes with cheese, bacon and mushrooms, it was delicious!
Enjoy your evening!Supplies

Crafty Stash
Here's a couple piccies of the yummmy goodies which I got from the NEC yesterday, I think I went a bit mad on the Magnolias!!! The Martha Stewart punches were 2 for £23, so I just had to get a couple and the alphabet stamps were only £1.
We had a great day and it was lovely to look round all the stalls and see some demos, can't wait till the next one in November!
Have a great Friday.

Cute Card Thursday 'Dimensions'
This weeks challenge at Cute Card Thursday is to have some dimension on your card. I have used Devil Tilda and sat her on a heart from a previous collection. The fab sentiment is also from Magnolia. I have coloured the images with Distress Inks and added some glitter to Tilda's wings and horns. To finish the card I have added a doiley and some flowers.
Well I'm up early to get ready to head off to the NEC with a small list (bet you don't believe that Stella!!), although it is mainly Magnolia stamps on it! It will be all the better as I've just been offered a full time job (my crafty one was finishing at the end of April unfortunately) so I will be able to spend a few more pennies today and not have to worry about job hunting! I will be working the night shift at Sainsburys - a bit different from teaching card making etc. I've not worked nights before so if anyone has any advice please let me know. Many thanks.
Have a great Thursday!Supplies

Magnolia Down Under - Plain + Simple Tilda Card
There is a fab sketch at Magnolia Down Under this week and seeing as I haven't joined in any of their challenges for so long I decided to give it a go. I have made a very simple Tilda card, with no bought flowers or ribbon! The images have been coloured with Distress Inks and the flower punches are EK Success.
It is such a beautiful day here and I have already cleaned some windows and spent 20 mins on the Cross Trainer - the winter belly has to go!!!! I am just about to write myself a little list of 'must have purchases' at the NEC on Thursday.

Cute Card Thursday 'Anniversary'
This weeks theme at Cute Card Thursday is anniversaries. I made this card for a friend of mine and her hubby as it's their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, the same day as mine but we have only been married 18 years! I have used 2 Magnolia images, which I've coloured with Distress Inks and papers from Cosmo Cricket. The heart was cut on the Cricut and I have stamped it with a Hero Arts 'Love' stamp, added some flowers and pearls and lots of glitter.
I have got to make hubby another anniversary card later as I made one the other day and forgot who it was for so it ended up been very pink and girly - don't think he's appreciate that!!!
Have a good Thursday!Supplies

Magnolia DT Card
Here is another Magnolia DT card using stamps from the Easter Collection 10. I have used Broom Tilda and the fabby 'With This Small' text. The scruumy papers are from Magnolia and I have coloured Tilda with Distress Inks and added some flowers. This is such a terrible photo, my hubby has been using my camera and I think he has changed the settings although of course he swears blind he hasn't!!! I have already posted the cards to Sweden so it's too late to take another photo.
Have a great Wednesday and enjoy the sunshine!

Magnolia DT Card
Here is another Magnolia DT card using some of the images from the new Easter Collection 10. I have used the gorgeous Tilda with 3 Flowers image and sat her on a wall from an older Magnolia collection. The papers are from Magnolia and I have stuck the bunny on with 3D foam - have you noticed his little flowersoft tail! I also added lots of flowers and leaves.
Well we have got a car (collecting it Friday!). I haven't sat it yet as Alex was too small to go on the test drive, but we had big hot chocolates from Starbucks while we were waiting for hubby and Grant so that made up for it. I didn't even go to the craft shop as the car was slightly more than we were planning on paying so I will have to be good for a while now!
Have a good Monday, the weather is gorgeous here.Supplies

Tilda in the Kitchen Card
Here's a Magnolia card which I have made for no reason other than I felt like it!! I got this sideboard stamp when it was released but this is the 1st time I have inked it up and I thought it went really well with this older Tilda image. The images have been coloured with Distress Inks and the papers are Graphic 45. I have punched some flowers and swirls with EK Success punches and added a few pearls.
My Tim Holtz TSV arrived yesterday, I really am enjoying reading the book and the different techniques look great and my fabby Magnolia DT kit arrived this afternoon, I can't wait to ink up the new Easter stamps but it will have to wait until tomorrow as I have work tonight! The stamps are gorgeous as are the papers and they are all available for pre order from Sir Stampalot.
