The theme at CCT this week is things with wings. I made a tag for my mum's 90th birthday using Graphic 45 Botanical Tea papers. The papers have been edged with Distress Ink and I added a Magnolia die cut strip and Tim Holtz die cut numbers.

CCT Bonny Blue
This weeks theme at CCT is Bonny Blue. I have made a tag for this challenge which I coloured with Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks, it is more vibrant than it shows in the photo. All the stamps are from Ryn Designs, I love the water droplet ones they look so effective.
I hope you all had a good Easter, I didn't manage to do any crafting at all.

CCT Buttons and Bows
The challenge at CCT this week is Buttons and Bows. I have made a little tag using a Hanglar and Stanglar image which I coloured with Distress Markers. The papers are MME which I was lucky enough to win from Michelle you can visit her fab blog The Card Grotto here. I have added some lace and some flowers and a swirl punched with EK Success punches. The bows are in her hair and the button is in the centre of the flower.
I hope you have a good Easter, I don't think we will be doing much apart from lots of extra dog walks and hopefully some bike rides if the weather is nice and I will try and sneek some crafting time!

CCT Can't Stop The Rain
This weeks challenge at CCT is Can't Stop The Rain. I have made a quick tag which I coloured with Distress Stains. I was going to add various embellishments to the tag but I really liked how the background turned out and when I stamped the Tim Holtz Umbrella Man image it looked like he was walking down a path so I left it as it was and just stamped the Docrafts cog stamp in the corner and a dotty stamp under his feet. The seam binding is also coloured with Distress Stains.
Have a good Thursday.

Hope you all had a good Xmas and got lots of goodies. We had a great time and I got lots of crafty pressies this year, Wendy Vecchi & Tim Holtz stamps, Distress Stains & a few dies!! Best of all I've had all week off work with the rest of the family. We haven't really done much but its been nice all been at home together for a change.
I've decided to have a change from the cute stamps and have a play with inks etc which have been lurking in my stash for the past couple of years and my Xmas pressies after watching a programme on Create & Craft with Hels Sheridan demonstrating, I loved all the items she was making. The tag background is coloured with Distress Stains and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I over stamped with a Hero Arts script stamp and a Stempleglede 'Grunge' corner stamp with Distress Ink. The flower is Wendy Vecchi stamps stamped on Grungepaper, coloured with Distress Stains and the sentiment is another Hero Arts stamp. I really enjoyed making the tag which was then promptly nicked by my daughter for her friends birthday card, so it can't have been too bad!
I've just painted a mini canvas with Gesso so I'm hoping to get on with that tomorrow although I'm back in work tomorrow night just for the 1 night.
I am entering this tag into this weeks The Sunday Stamper, the theme is Anything You Wanna Do.
Have a good weekend!

Just Buggin 3D Challenge
This weeks challenge at Just Buggin is to make a 3D project, a bag or a box etc. I made a little heart bag cut with the Cricut for my hubby for Valentines Day and filled it with some truffles. The bag is cut with the Tags, Bags, Boxes + More, the hearts are Doodlecharm and the birds are from the Heritage cartridge. This was so quick to make and I have just added a touch of glitter to the birds, a red bow and a pearl heart. I Cuttlebugged the red heart, but you can't really see that on the photo!
I hope you have a fab Valentines Day and get some lovely pressies!
