CCT Green

This week's theme at CCT is Greens. This is the 1st page of my Xmas planner using the same Kaisercraft papers as I have used for the rest of my pages. The stamps are an old set from Hero Arts which I coloured with Zig Clean Color pens. All the dies are from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Not the best photo I'm afraid as it's very foggy here and the light is terrible.

CCT Add A Quote

The theme at CCT this week is Add A Quote. I used the Lawn Fawn Fab Flowers set to make my card and used inks and a sentiment from Hero Arts.

CCT Something New

This week at CCT we'd like you to use something new on your card or make a card for a 'new' occasion. I've used some new stamps and dies on my card. The stamps are MFT Monster Love and the new dies are the Lacy Heart Stackables from Lawn Fawn. I've also used Lawn Fawn papers and Hero Arts inks. 

CCT Stars/Sprinkles

The theme at CCT this week is Stars/Sprinkles. I have used a cute Penny Black image which I have coloured with Copics. The sentiment is Hero Arts and the frame die is from Mama Elephant.

CCT Add Some Glitter

At CCT this week we would you like you to add some glitter to your card. I have used another Penny Black image coloured with Copics, on a Kraft card base. I added a couple of debossed lines on either side of the image and a Hero Arts sentiment. A very quick and easy card.

I am also entering this card into the Penny Black and More challenge which is Anything Goes With a Stamp.

CCT Razzle Dazzle

This weeks theme at CCT is Razzle Dazzle. I've made a very quick card with a Penny Black image coloured with Copics and a Tonic die. I have added some paper flowers and a Hero Arts sentiment. The razzle dazzle is the glitter on the flowers but unfortunately it doesn't show up too well in the photo!

I'm hoping Mr Blogger doesn't play up as I've had to schedule this post as by the time its posted I'll be in Riga, Latvia for a few days holiday with hubby, can't wait!!

CCT Rainbows

The theme at CCT this week is rainbows, I have cheated slightly because I couldn't find anything with a rainbow on it so I have used this Penny Black sticker which has all the colours of the rainbow on it.

CCT Floral Delight

This weeks challenge at CCT is Floral Delight, perfect for those last minute Mother's day cards. I am still going through my old stamps and found this one from Hero Arts. I have coloured the image with Copics and added 3 little gems. I also added the grass at the bottom of the flowers, not too sure if it was a good idea or not. The sentiment is by Penny Black.

Well the injection seems to have helped slightly with my knee and hopefully things will improve further throughout the week. We had a nice anniversary and went out for a lovely lunch at a local pub.

CCT Ebony and Ivory

Another super quick card for this weeks CCT challenge on the theme of ebony and ivory. The ties are a set of 3 Hero Arts stamps which I picked up for 50p at a craft sale and I stamped them using a stamp positioner which was also 50p so quite a bargain!! I have 3D the ties and  the white card is embossed with a Cuttlebug houndstooth folder and the sentiment is also Hero Arts.

Only just realised but I havent even cropped the photo! Oh well, I have been very lapse at blog hopping recently what with working overtime and my eldest daughter moving into her own flat but hopefully I will get time later today or tomorrow.

Finishing on quite a sad note the floods in Prague which have again flooded the lower levels of the zoo is such sad news. Kerry and I visited there in October and it was one of the best days out which I have had, it is a fantastic zoo and I only hope they manage to get the funds to reopen it. Luckily they managed to save the animals. 

CCT 242 - Sketch

Well I've finally got round to making a card for the CCT challenge which this week is a sketch from Deb. I love this sketch, nice and simple which is about all I can manage at the moment!! I have used kraft card, some MM paper and a Hero Arts stamp. The image has been coloured with Copics and I have added a bit of glitter and some Flower Soft to his hat. Hopefully I'll get back into card making now!

I am also going to enter my card in this weeks Papertake challenge which is Anything Goes.
I had a great time in Prague with Kerry, its a beautiful city and I'm looking forward to going back in Feb for a few days with hubby.

Xmas, New Stamps & The Sunday Stampers Week 186

Hope you all had a good Xmas and got lots of goodies. We had a great time and I got lots of crafty pressies this year, Wendy Vecchi & Tim Holtz stamps, Distress Stains & a few dies!! Best of all I've had all week off work with the rest of the family. We haven't really done much but its been nice all been at home together for a change.

I've decided to have a change from the cute stamps and have a play with inks etc which have been lurking in my stash for the past couple of years and my Xmas pressies after watching a programme on Create & Craft with Hels Sheridan demonstrating, I loved all the items she was making. The tag background is coloured with Distress Stains and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I over stamped with a Hero Arts script stamp and a Stempleglede 'Grunge' corner stamp with Distress Ink. The flower is Wendy Vecchi stamps stamped on Grungepaper, coloured with Distress Stains and the sentiment is another Hero Arts stamp. I really enjoyed making the tag which was then promptly nicked by my daughter for her friends birthday card, so it can't have been too bad!

I've just painted a mini canvas with Gesso so I'm hoping to get on with that tomorrow although I'm back in work tomorrow night just for the 1 night.
