Another 'Different' Christmas Card
This is another Xmas card using an Inkadinkado stamp which is so unlike my normal 'cutesy' cards. I love this English Robin stamp (although mine looks nothing like a robin!!). It's the first time in over a year that I have messed around with inks and lots of different stamps etc and I had great fun and made a bit of a mess as well!!
The robin has been stamped in brown and coloured with Prismacolors and I distressed and stamped a Penny Black snow swirl stamp around the edges (this doesn't show up on the photo very well). The red card has been Cuttlebugged, sanded and then as it was too dark I swiped a white inkpad over the top. I stamped the same swirl over the background paper and added some lace and a flower and pine branches. I have used Glimmer Mists on the bird and the red card but it doesn't show up in the photo and the cream card is distressed and then stamped with a Hero Arts sentiment.
I have just treated myself to a couple more Glimmer Mists and 2 Tim Holtz stamps, so I hope they arrive tomorrow so I can use them over the weekend. Have a good Friday!
Supplies
Stamps: Inkadinkado - English Robin, Hero Arts - Sentiment, Penny Black - Snow Swirl
Tools: Prismacolors, SU Punch, Distress Inks, Cuttlebug, Pearls, Glossy Accents, McGill Pine Branch Punch, Flowers, Lace

Wow the new stamps are fabulous and I just love this cute little lion and couldn't wait to ink him up and make a card. I love his little paws at the back they look so cute and I have given him a very shiny nose with Glossy Accents.
I have been a bit slack with card making over the weekend as I am still trying to stick to the diet and also get a bit fitter!! We went swimming again on Sunday and I managed 50 lengths this week so I am quite pleased with myself!!

Magnolia DT + Friday Sketchers 47
Here is the 1st of my DT cards for Magnolia using stamps from the Chasing Butterflies Collection 09 which I have based my card on this weeks fab sketch at Friday Sketchers. This is such a beautiful Tilda stamp and I love the big bouquet of roses, with the little butterfly she is carrying. The sentiment is also from Magnolia and is one of quite a few new ones.
The decorative strip has been made using a Spellbinders Piercerabilities Die, which I have die cut, embossed and pierced. I really like these dies and they make beautiful borders on cards. The big butterfly die cut was in my DT kit and I have just added a few gems for a bit of sparkle.

I hope you are having a great Easter Sunday and are enjoying the lovely sunny weather.Supplies
