PBS Showers

An extra card from me this week which is most unusual! We had a fabulous few days in Prague, the highlights of which were a trip to the zoo to see all their wonderful baby animals and a private guided tour of Terezin concentration camp. It's not mentioned much in the history books over here but was fascinating and our guide made it so interesting, I am trying to find out more about it.
While I was in Prague I treated myself to a set of Koh-I-Noor polycolor pencils, they are made in the Czech Republic and are fairly inexpensive to buy there. This is the first image I have coloured with them and am very pleased, they are easy to use and don't require you to press hard.
The image is Penny Black and the papers are MFT, a quick and simple card and perfect for trying out my new pencils.

I would like to enter this card into the Penny Black Saturday challenge which is showers.

CCT No Patterned Paper

The theme at CCT this week is No Patterned Paper. I have made a card using a couple of My Favorite Things stamps and a stencil. I stamped the image and then masked it off and used Hickory Smoke Distress Ink for the stencil. The stamped image is coloured with Copics.

I've scheduled this post as we will still be in Prague (our last day unfortunately) so I hope it posts correctly!

CCT Add a Quote

The theme at CCT this week is Add A Quote.I have made a Christmas tag using a Penny Black stamp and Mama Elephant stamps and dies. The reindeer are coloured with Copics and I added some Glossy Accents to their noses. I haven't made a shaker card for many years but I really enjoyed making it, I just need to remember how to stop the sequins sticking to the acetate!

Hubby and I are off to Prague for a few days on Sunday with my son and his girlfriend, I'm really looking forward to it. We have a trip to Terezin concentration camp booked and are also planning a day at the zoo. I'm also meeting up with a friend I worked with a few years ago.

CCT Homemade Embellishments

The theme at CCT this week is Homemade Embellishments. I have used another Penny Black image for my card which I have coloured with Copics. The circle die and papers are MFT and the tag die and sentiment are Mama Elephant. The flowers are made with EK Success punches and the leaves are Martha Stewart punch. Not sure about the pink flowers now, maybe lilac would have been better, although they look better in real life than in the photo!

Penny Black Christening Card

My daughter asked me to make a christening card and this is what I came up with. The Penny Black image has been coloured with Copics and I added some glitter to the flower. I printed the name etc on the PC and I added some ribbon and pearl hearts.

CCT Something Shiny

The theme at CCT this week is Something Shiny. I treated myself to this super cute Mama Elephant stamp set called Arctic Penguins and they were sat on my desk so I decided to use them for this weeks card. The stars are cut out of the navy card with a Die-Namics die and I put some silver mirri card behind. The penguins are coloured with Copics and I used a Lil-Inker die for the snow drifts. The sentiment is Stampin Up.

Don't think I've ever made a Christmas card in April before!
