CCT To Die For

The theme at CCT this week is To Die For. Today is my son's 19th birthday and this is the card I made him! He bought me most of the stamps and dies I used on it as presents so I thought I'd make him a card using with them, luckily he found it hilarious. The dinosaurs, trees and sentiment stamps and dies are MFT, the sun is Lil Inkers, the clouds are Paper Smooches, the mountains are Mama Elephant and the grass is Lawn Fawn. The dinosaur and trees are coloured with Copics.

I'm looking forward to a nice long Bank Holiday weekend with hubby and a couple of my children, the other 2 are away on holiday.

I would also like to enter this card into the Everybody Art Challenge which is Anything Goes.

Anniversary Card

Today is my 24th wedding anniversary, can't quite believe its been so long! This is the card I made for my hubby, using images and a sentiment from the Mama Elephant Some Bunny set. I coloured the bunnies and carrots with Copics and then cut them out with the matching die set. The frame is a Die-Namics die and the cloud is Paper Smooches.

CCT Easter

The theme at CCT this week is Easter. I used the MFT Ewe Are The Best stamps which I coloured with Distress Markers. The paper is from Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is Darkroom Door.

CCT Ribbon or Lace

We have another nice and easy challenge at CCT this week, Ribbon or Lace. I have made a cute tag which I cut with a Mama Elephant die from Kraft card. The papers are Lawn Fawn and the cute panda is from the Mama Elephant Pandamonium set. The sentiment is also Mama Elephant and I cut the circles with Nestabilities. The ric-rac has been in my stash for years!

I am also entering my tag in the Seven Hills Crafts monthly challenge.

CAS on Sunday You're Rawr-Some!

I've decided to try and enter few more challenges in the hope I will make more cards and use up some of my stash. I have made a card for this weeks CAS On Sunday challenge which is a sketch. The dinosaur stamp and sentiment are from the new MFT release Prehistoric Fun and the papers are some very old Basic Grey ones. The image has been coloured with Copics and I added Wink of Stella to the spots.

CCT Mothers Day

Our theme at CCT this week is Mother's Day. I have used a Penny black image which I have coloured with Copics. The paper is MFT as is the circle die. The square die is Lil Inkers and the tag is Paper Smooches. I added a sentiment from Mama Elephant and Wink Of Stella to the flowers and butterflies.

CCT Floral

This weeks theme at CCT is Floral. I have used a Penny Black image for my card which I coloured with Copics and then cut out using a MFT die. The pennant is a Mama Elephant die and the sentiment is also Penny Black. A quick and simple card.

We had a fabulous time in Rome, the weather was lovely as was the company, food and wine. Our trip to Pompeii was really good, the Italian train services are so much better than ours.

CCT Warm Colours

This weeks theme at CCT is Warm Colours. I have made a male card using a Penny Black image coloured with Copics. The speech bubble die is from Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is Hero Arts.

I hope this publishes ok as we are in Rome for the week so Ive had to schedule it. We should hopefully be on a fast train to Naples for a day trip to Pompeii!

CCT Sweet Valentines

This weeks theme at CCT is Sweet Valentines. I've made a card for my hubby using the MFT Ewe Are The Best stamps and co ordinating dies. I saw a card very similar to this on the internet and just loved the design of it so decided to make something like it. The grass is stamped and cut from MFT paper and the sheep has been coloured with Copics and Wink of Stella on the heart. The hexagon stamped on the brown card is another MFT stamp which I stamped in Versamark. The rectangle is a MFT die and the tag is Mama Elephant.

CCT In The Pink

This weeks theme at CCT is In the Pink. I have used images from the MFT Adorable Elephants stamp set, these elephants are so cute. I coloured the images with Copics and added clear Wink of Stella to the flowers, balloon and butterflies. The paper is also MFT.

CCT For the Ladies

Its time for another challenge at CCT and this week its For The Ladies. I have used the MFT Whole Herd stamp set again for my card. The chicks and hen are coloured with Copics and I used 2 of the sentiments included in the set. The square has been cut with a Lil Inkers stitched die and the paper is Cosmo Cricket. 

CCT Just Boys

The theme at CCT this week is Just Boys. I have used some of my new My Favorite Things stamps for this card. I cut the panel with a MFT wonky rectangle die and used Distress Markers for the background and to colour the images. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and added clear Wink of Stella to the balloon. The clouds are a Paper Smooches die. As you can probably spot there is a fault on the rectangle die, there was an area of the cutting parts missing, however it doesn't look so obvious in real life and the dies are on the way back to be replaced.

I love this stamp set, the images are so cute and it was a nice quick card to make. I made it for my sons 17th birthday as he has always liked sheep and luckily he loves it. 

CCT A Bit of Fun

The theme at CCT this week is a Bit of Fun. I have used some more of my new goodies for my card. The image is from the My Favorite Things stamp set The Whole Herd and the papers are also My Favorite Things, Fresh Squeezed Chevron. The mat is cut with a Lil Inkers stitched die. I stamped the cow and then masked it before stamping the other 2 and then coloured them with Copics.

CCT Hey What's New

I hope you all had a great New Years eve. I spent mine at work which wasn't very exciting! We have another great challenge at CCT this week which is What's New, we would like to see some of your new crafting goodies. I have to admit to buying rather a lot of new stuff over the past few weeks and I really must stop now. 

I have used a Kraft card base which I used a Lil Inker die on to make the faux stitching and hand cut a tag. The dog stamp and matching die are Avery Elle and the sentiment and dragonfly are Mama Elephant. The scalloped border and flag dies are Die-Namics, the grass is a Lawn Fawn die and the papers are My Minds Eye. I added 3 gems to finish the card.
