CCT Anything Goes

I hope you all had a good Christmas and got lots of lovely presents.
The theme at CCT this week is Anything Goes. I have used a Penny Black image on my card which I have coloured with Lyra Polycolor pencils. The embossing folder is Stampin Up and I have added a little bit of glitter.

I'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year and I hope you'll be able to join in the challenges we have planned for next year. No celebrating for me this year as I'm working New Years Eve night so it will have to wait until I finish on Friday morning!

CCT Add Some Glitter

At CCT this week we would you like you to add some glitter to your card. I have used another Penny Black image coloured with Copics, on a Kraft card base. I added a couple of debossed lines on either side of the image and a Hero Arts sentiment. A very quick and easy card.

I am also entering this card into the Penny Black and More challenge which is Anything Goes With a Stamp.

CCT Traditional Colours

This weeks theme at CCT is Traditional Colours. I have used another Go Kreate dies to make the card base and mats. The image is Penny Black which I coloured with Copics and the doiley die is Cheery Lynn.

Not the best photo I'm afraid but the weather is horrid at the moment.

The theme at CCT this week is Angels or Fairies. I have used another Hanglar image for my card which I have coloured with Distress Markers. I cut the card base with another Go Kreate die, and added some paper from a Tilda pad. The other dies are Spelllbinders and Tim Holtz and the sentiment is Hero Arts.

I really enjoyed making this card, its been a while since I used my Distress Markers. I hope you'll be able to join in this weeks challenge as we have another great prize.

CCT Light it Up

This weeks theme at CCT is Light it Up. I have used one of my new Go Kreate dies and a Hanglar image, which I coloured with Lyra Polycolors. The papers are Stampin Up and the dies are Tim Holtz and Spellbinders.

Not the best photo because the light is so bad here today. I had hoped to make the card a bit more elaborate but a combination of working extra and only having 1 night off and no heating for the past 2.5 weeks has limited my card making time. The engineer is back again sometime this morning so I hope he fixes it this time!
We had a nice day on Saturday when we went to Old Trafford to watch the David Beckham Unicef match, we all really enjoyed it.

CCT Animals and Birds

This weeks theme at CCT is animals and birds. I have made a very quick card using Tim Holtz dies. The reindeer is cut from double sided adhesive and is covered in gold glitter, it is so sparkly but it doesn't really show in the photo. The joy is cut from gold mirri card and I made the ticket shape from a rectangle of card cut with a corner punch.

CCT Food and Drink

This weeks theme at CCT is food and drink. I made a ticket shaped kraft card with a We R Memory Keepers punch and added some My Minds Eye papers. The image is an old Edwin stamp which I coloured with Lyra Polycolor pencils. I added some die cut pennants and a Tim Holtz scribble die cut. The tab is a Stampin Up punch which I stamped with some alphabet peg stamps which I picked up from the NEC a few years ago for £1.

CCT Sparkles

The theme at CCT this week is Sparkles. Another quick card from me using a Hanglar image coloured with Lyra Polycolor pencils, a Sue Wilson embossing folder and a Spellbinders die set. The snowflake is a Tim Holtz die cut from glitter card and of course I added lots of glitter to the image and background which doesn't really show up in the photo.

I'm hoping this posts ok as we are on holiday in Devon this week.

CCT Masculine

This weeks theme at CCT is masculine. I made a card using a Tim Holtz image which I have coloured with my new Lyra Polycolors, they are so nice to use and blend really easily. The camera was coloured with just 1 grey pencil. I inked the edge of the card with Hickory Smoke distress ink.
The background is silver mirri card embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder. I have put slate alcohol ink onto the mirri card, which looks really effective but doesn't show up in the photo very well. The sentiment and filmstrip are also Tim Holtz dies.

My mum really enjoyed her 90th birthday and we had a lovely party with family and friends.
