Tilda + Friends 'May Celebrations' Challenge
This week over at Tilda + Friends ATC Challenge, the theme is May Celebrations. I have made my ATC using a stamp from the Magnolia Spring Club. This is such a pretty stamp and just perfect to celebrate May with her bunch of Spring flowers.I stamped the background and coloured the sky and grass with chalks. I stamped Tilda on a piece of spare card and then I coloured her, the fence and the ladybird with Primacolors and Sansador. To finish off the ATC I added a few touches of glitter.

Another No Card Day
I've not made any cards today as we have had the stair carpet fitted, hopefully it won't sound like we have a herd of elephants living in the house anymore!! My crafty stuff is upstairs and I didn't fancy carrying the whole lot down hence no cards. I'm off to my demo in a short while, at least everything is ready for that.
Got some fabby post today, some more new Magnolias from the Shabby Chic range, hope I get time to play with them tomorrow.

For my card I have used a Tilda stamp from the Spring Stampclub which I have coloured with Prismacolors and Sansador. I also stamped and coloured the watering can and I have added Glossy Accents to the bow and spout. I added glitter to the flowers and Tilda's hairband and wings and 3 little Kanban gems. The orange card has been embossed with the Swiss Dots folder and the Cuttlebug. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

No Cards Today
Not had time to make any cards today, went to town this morning to get some school shoes for Kerry, trainers for Al and to go to the bank!! Just been up the park for an hour or so with the boys and we're off to Hobbycraft soon. I don't really like going there but I need a daylight bulb and I can't find them anywhere else. I might just pick up a few other things as well!!!
Hope you're having a good weekend and enjoying the lovely weather.

Tilda + Co 'Girly But Blue' Challenge
The challenge at Tilda + Co this week is 'Girly But Blue', make a feminine card or other item but predominately with the colour blue. I have used the Paris Tilda (she reminds me of Benny Hill, I think it's the way she is stood!) which I have coloured with Prismacolours and Sansador and some paper and card from my stash. I have added 3 flowers but for some reason the blue one looks really bright in the photo when it's quite dull really!!
Hope you are having a good weekend.

4x4 Friday 'Circus'
The theme at 4x4 Friday this week is 'Circus', I don't really have anything circus themed so I decided to make a card using my new High Hopes Tiger stamp, how cute is he! Do they still have tigers in Circuses? I'm not sure but I'll enter this card anyway.
I have stamped the image and then coloured him with Prismacolors and Sansador and added Glossy Accents to his nose so it's nice and shiny. After I'd done all the colouring I decided it did need a sentiment to fill the corner so I used this mini one from Hero Arts and added 3 brads. The scalloped square is cut with a Nestabilities die.
Have a good weekend.

Cute Card Thursday 'It's A Man's World' Challenge
The challenge at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'It's A Man's World', we would like you to make a card for the men or boys in your life. We have a fab Sugar Nellie monkey stamp up for grabs and all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning it is to make a card and leave us a comment with a link to it.
I have used the super cute William Goblin for my card and papers from Basic Grey. I have stamped William and coloured him with Prismacolors and Sansador. I stamped the 2 toadstools and coloured them and then added Glossy Accents to make them nice and shiny, I put some brown ink on the green to try and darken it but it hadn't dried when I put the GA on so it ran but I really like the effect it gives. To finish the card I added 4 eyelets and some garden twine whilst praying that I got them in the right place so I didn't wreck the whole card!! I really must plan my cards more rather than adding things at the end (like the sentiment + eyelets) once it's all put together.

ArtyGirlz 'Ribbons' Challenge
The challenge at ArtyGirlz this week is to use ribbons on your project and they have some fab goodies up for grabs.
I fancied a change from card making as I have been doing that all morning so I decided to try out stamping on a candle. I tried to stamp on a larger candle at first but it wasn't very smooth (had anybody got any tips?) so I went for a smaller image and candle. I have used a Penny Black image which I coloured with watercolours and I have added a bright orange ribbon. These are such fun to make but 1 word of warning my candle melted a bit round the top and I didn't notice and poured the hot wax on my hand - not a good idea!!

The papers are from Basic Grey and I have used the Goblin Grass stamp on the green paper and the Swiss Dots embossing folder on the red. The buttons are from an old bag I had off C+C about 5 years ago!
There are 2 fab stamps from Aunty's Store up for grabs so why not pop over here and check out the challenge.

In addition to your Magnolia stamp we want you to mix in
1 bow, 2 flowers, 3 colours (as well as flesh tones) and 4 brads or gems.

For my ATC I have used Tilda with her Watering Can. I have stamped and coloured her with Prismacolors and Sansador and paper pieced her clothes and watering can. The papers are from K + Co and I added 2 punched flowers with 2 brads and I used the other 2 brads as buttons. I used garden twine for the little bow.

Papertake Challenge Claudia's Box
The challenge at Papertake this week is to make a box using Claudia's instructions. I have made my box out of K + Co papers and I added 2 stamped images by Magnolia of Tilda and Edwin. I have coloured these with Prismacolors and Sansador and added some glitter for a bit of sparkle. I added some ric rac ribbon, a little sentiment tag and 2 handles which I pinched off 1 of my daughter's many bags (she collects them!!)

Ismaki Sketch 14
I have based this card on this weeks sketch at Ismaki. I found this one so difficult but after rotating the sketch this is what I managed to come up with. I stamped the steps by Magnolia onto white card which I then cut into a circle using a Nestabilities die. I have stamped the Goblin's Grass also by magnolia onto the circle using Antique Linen Distress Ink and then I added some Adriondak Pesto ink to make the background a little darker. I stamped the Goblin's Fungi and Sitting William onto white card and coloured them with Prismacolors and Sansador. I then added Glossy Accents to the fungi so they are nice and shiny. I stuck the Basic Grey paper to the card and then added 8 eyelets (praying I didn't make a mistake!!) and threaded them with garden twine. The sentiment is from Penny Black and the buttons are from Basic Grey - I had to add the extra one as I don't like even numbers of embellishments!!
I know that a lot of people aren't too keen on the Goblins but I think William is so cute and he really reminds me of someone!!

Apologies
My first big super apology is the the CCT DT who didn't get my email with next weeks challenge I am so sorry but my email has been playing up for the last week and it must be out there in cyberspace somewhere.
Secondly I'm sorry there is no card today but I have been asked to do a stamping demo next Tuesday (my first one ever) and I am trying to get samples etc made.
More good news my Magnolia's arrived from Sweden yesterday I only ordered them last Friday so they just took 1 week to arrive which is very good. Can't wait to get a chance to stamp with them.

Penny Black Dog Card
A super quick card for me today as we have visitors and I am working on some other projects which will probably take me most of the weekend as well! I have stamped and coloured this Penny Black dog stamp and simply layered it onto patterned paper and added some ribbon. I thought it would be ideal for a man's card.
Hope you are all enjoying this wonderful sunny day and have a good weekend, despite the weather forecast.

Cute Card Thursday 'Planes, Trains + Automobiles'
The challenge at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Planes, Trains + Automobiles' or any other form of transport you can think of.
I have used one of the new Penny Black transparent stamps, a little mouse hitching a ride on a snail. These stamps are fab but maybe a little small so I also added a couple of butterflies. I have coloured the image with Prismacolors and Sansador and added Glossy Accents to give the snail a shiny shell and some glitter to the butterflies. The circles are cut with Nestabilities dies and the papers are more from my scrap pile, which at long last is getting smaller!! The sentiment is by Hero Arts.
