CCT Anything But A Card

The theme at CCT this week is Anything But A Card. I made a bottle treat hanger to match my daughter's birthday card to put on her bottle of Prosecco. The papers are Maja design and I have added lots of flowers and a Martha Stewart punched butterfly and Magnolia fronds.

CCT Lace and Pearls

The theme at CCT this week is Lace and Pearls. Its my daughter's 22nd birthday tomorrow and this is the card I have made for her. The papers are Maja Design and I have added various flowers, pearls and lace which I had in my stash. The shaped dies cuts are Go Kreate and the fronds are from Magnolia. I painted the little wooden birdcage with gesso, this was in a set of 10 which were a bargain from The Works for £1. The sentiment is made with a Lisa Bernstein font off the PC.

CCT Halloween

This weeks theme at CCT is Halloween. I used an old Magnolia ghost stamp on my card and created the background with Distress Inks. The fence is a Die-Namics die and the tree is Lawn Fawn. The word is cut with Tim Holtz thinlits.

CCT Anything Goes

We have a nice and easy theme at CCT this week, Anything Goes. I've decided to make a start on my Xmas cards and have used the Snowy stamp from Penny Black. I've been after this stamp for a long time and managed to buy it from a selling site on Facebook, although I think it has recently been re released. The image is coloured with Copics and I paper pieced his scarf and hat using Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Christmas papers. The dies are by Die-Namics and the background paper is from the same Lawn Fawn pad. I added some Creative Expressions Iced Snow beneath the snowman and Diamond Sprinkles on his hat.

CCT CAS

The theme at CCT this week is Clean and Simple. I have made a card using just white and kraft card. The background stitched quilt die is by Lil Inkers and the dandelions were a bargain from Ebay, they were 99p for the 2! I have recently bought quite a few unbranded dies from Ebay and they cut really well and are so inexpensive. The sentiment is Magnolia and has been heat embossed in white.

Hopefully this will post ok as we are away in Devon for a few days and I have scheduled the post.

CCT Party Time

The theme at CCT this week is Party Time. I made this card for my hubby birthday using Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. The images are coloured with Kuretake Clean Color pens and I added some Wink of Stella to the balloons. The papers are MFT and the cloud dies are Taylored Expressions.

CCT Animals/Creatures

This weeks theme at CCT is animals/creatures. I have made a tag card using a Mama Elephant die and a Penny Black image. The image has been stamped onto a MFT oval die cut mat and coloured with Copics.

CCT Kiddies/Babies

The theme at CCT this week is Kiddies/Babies. I have used the MFT Snuggle Bunny stamp set for my tag shaped card. The image is coloured with Copics and the tag is a Mama Elephant die. The spotty paper is MFT and the main tag has been stamped and heat embossed with another MFT stamp. 

CCT Dressing Up

This weeks theme at CCT is Dressing Up, I used this cute Penny Black image which I have coloured with Copics.

CCT Outer Space/Stars

This weeks theme at CCT is Outer Space/Stars. This is what I came up with. The card has been stamped with Stampin Up Gorgeous Grunge stamps and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I added lots of Fran-tage and sequins and used Mama Elephant dies for the stars. The sentiment is done with Avery Elle alphabet stamps and another Mama Elephant die.

CCT Family

The theme at CCT this week is family, perfect timing for me as its my hubbys birthday at the beginning of August so I have made a card for the children to give him. I stamped this cute Penny Black image onto watercolour card and coloured it with my new Kuretake Clean Color pens. I highly recommend these as they blend so easily and have some lovely pale as well as vibrant colours. The 'dad' is cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Alphanumeric dies and the bone and sentiment are from the Avery Elle Furry Friends stamp and die set. I doodled a border to the image.

CCT In The Round

This weeks theme at CCT is In The Round. I recently treated myself to the Making Waves dies by Neat and Tangled,I think it is such a nice set. The stamps and matching dies are Lawn Fawn and I coloured the images with Copics. The circles in the background are another new stamp from Neat and Tangled, called falling Circles. The fishtails tags are a Die-Namics die.

I've ordered myself a set of Kuretake Clean Color brush pens which will hopefully arrive today or tomorrow, I'm looking forward to having a play with them. I've watched a few You Tube videos but any tips would be great.

CCT Embossing

The theme at CCT this week is embossing. I have made a card using Die-namics Blueprints 15 dies and a Penny Black image. The image is coloured with Copics and I have added some glitter. The sentiment from Mama Elephant has been heat embossed.

I have missed a couple of challenges due to my holiday in Prague which we really enjoyed and I have been doing overtime to pay for the holiday! Hopefully I'm back now.

CCT Wedding/Anniversary

The theme at CCT this week is Wedding/Anniversary. I have made yet another quick card using the gorgeous Mama Elephant Pandamonium stamps and co-ordinating dies. The rectangle is cut with a MFT die.

I am off to Prague again at the weekend with my youngest son, hopefully it won't snow this time!
