Scrummy Stash Ribbon Challenge + Scrap Dribbles Mid Week Sketch
I have made this card to combine 2 challenges, the Scrummy Stash Cafe ribbon challenge and the mid week sketch at Scrap Dribbles.
I have used this gorgeous Penny Black hedgehog image which Steph sent me and some check ribbon which I think I have had in a box for about 4 years! I am going to have to buy this stamp it is just so cute - hope hubby doesn't read this!
I'm going to try and finish my DT cards later today and also get my PIFs sorted.
Have a good day.

ArtyGirlz Pockets + DCM Looking Back Challenges
I've made this card to combine 2 challenges, the one at ArtyGirlz which is pockets and the DCM looking back challenge. This is to use 1 or 2 elements from the DT cards from the previous week. The element I have chosen to use is the stars, many thanks to Annie for stamping them for me.
I have had the instructions for this pocket card for a while and haven't got round to using them so this challenge was ideal. I have stamped and coloured the Edwin and used papers from K + Co. The greeting stamp is by Penny Black.
The sun keeps trying to shine so I'm going to make the most of it and go out for a wlk with the dog.
Have a good day.

Ismaki Sketch 4
I have based this card on the sketch at Ismaki. I found this quite a hard sketch but came up with this card in the end. I have coloured Edwin with Prismacolors and Sansador and sat him on the steps. The actual stamp is Edwin sat on a pencil which I bought as he looks so cool with his baseball cap. I also stamped the pile of books and then cut 2 off for another embellishment. The papers are from HOTP.
Just about time to go to school now. Have a good afternoon - what's left of it!

TMTA Geometry + UK Scrappers Checks Challenges
I have made this ATC to combine 2 challenges, the TMTA geometry challenge and the new challenge blog at UK Scrappers for projects using Sugar Nellie stamps. Their challenge this week is checks, why not pop over to their blog and check it out - haha. The link is here.
I have stamped the Sugar Nellie cowboy and coloured him with Prismacolors and Sansador and used papers from HOTP. I printed the words using my Dymo and added the string which was from the tag on my new jeans.

Tilda + Co Baby Challenge
The challenge at Tilda + Co this week is to use a baby theme in your work. I have made a little photo album which I will use to put one of my son's photos in - I'll have to make some more for my other son and daughters. I used the Bind It All to make the book and covered it with Basic Grey papers. All the images are by Magnolia which I have stamped and coloured with Prismacolors and Sansador and I've used ribbon and fibres from my stash.
I used the Cricut Design Studio to weld the letters together, my first time using it, it's not too difficult but I had a bit of help from hubby!!

4x4 Friday Open Theme
There is an open theme at 4x4 Friday this week so it gave me the perfect opportunity to use my Tilda's Owl stamp, he is just so cute. I hae stamped and coloured him and added Glossy Accents to his eyes. The circles are cut with Nestabilities dies and the blue one has been embossed with the Cuttlebug.
Have a good weekend.

Love Cats
I was planning on making a pretty girly pink card this morning and this is what I ended up making!! Not quite what i had in mind. I love these papers by Bo Bunny they are such great colours. I cut the letters and the hearts with the Cricut and used a stamp by Rubber Stampede. I have had this stamp for over 5 years and use it quite a lot and today I noticed for the 1st time that the picture on the stamp is slightly different from the stamped image, very
odd.
I just had another look at this photo and the card looks really dirty like I dropped it in a puddle or something - it doesn't look like this in real life!

DCM 'Substitute' Sketch
This weeks challenge at DCM is to make a card using a 'substitute' sketch as Jo is poorly and couldn't upload her challenge. I have used a Penny Black hedgehog stamp. a hero Arts greeting and a pretty flower stamp by Magnolia. All the images are coloured with Prismacolor and Sansador and have glitter added for a bit of sparkle. The flowers on the paper are also glittery and are from a DCWV stack.

ArtyGirlz Animals Challenge
The challenge at ArtyGirlz this week is animals. It is such a beautiful sunny day here today that I have decided to use bright, cheery colours on my card. I have stamped and coloured this image by Penny Black and added glitter to the flowers and bees and also a few gems. The rectangles are cut with Nestabilities dies. I'm not too sure about the flower in the corner but it's stuck on now so will have to stay!!

PaperTakes Weekly Violets are Blue Challenge
The challenge at Papertakes this week is to use violets or blues on your project. I've made a little Bind It All notebook with a stamped image of Edwin on it. The book is 4x4 and i think Grant is planning on giving it to his friend. The letters are cut with the Cricut, I think it was the Doodletype cartridge.

Ismaki Sketch #3
I have based this card on this weeks sketch at the Ismaki blog. I have stamped and coloured the Tilda stamp and then used the Nestabilities dies to cut out the rectangle and the scalloped rectangle. I cut the tag by hand and added a greeting sticker which came with the papers from K+Co. I have used organza ribbon on the tag and affixed it with a brad by MM. The flowers are from my stash.

TMTA Winter Challenge
The theme at TMTA this week is winter and to use mainly blue on your ATC. I have used a Bella image which I have coloured and then I added a snowflake brad and lots of icy sparkle. The papers are from HOTP and I printed the words using a Lisa Bearnson font.
The weather is terrible here today, very heavy rain and it is so grey and miserable, hence the not so brilliant photo. Hope it's better wherever you are.

Bind It All Notebook + 4x4 Friday People With Wings Challenge
This is a little notebook which I have made for Alex's friend Ellie. I am also going to enter it for the 4x4 Friday people with wings challenge as the book is 4x4 and Tilda has her glittery wings. I have stamped and coloured Tilda and her dog and added a few touches of glitter to Tilda and a little heart gem to the dog. The papers and fibres are from Basic Grey. I use mountboard for the notbook covers and cut up printer paper for the pages - much cheaper than buying the Bind It All things. The colours are a lot nicer than in the photo but it's grey and raining here again today and I need to get it wrapped up.

Scalloped Baby Notecard
I was looking at Claudia's blog the other night and saw that she had a tutorial for making scalloped notecards with the Nestabilities dies, they looked so pretty I just had to have a go. I have used the largest scalloped rectangle and this cute little Penny Black stamp. The cards look so sweet I think I'll be making a few more.

ArtyGirlz Red Challenge + Claudia's Blog Candy
I have made this card for the ArtyGirlz red challenge and also for Claudia's friendship blog candy. I stamped the Tilda and her cat (which arrived this morning) and coloured them with Prismacolors and Sansador. I paperpieced Tilda cardy and added black glaze pen to her buttons and the cat's nose. I used my Dymo for the greeting and added 3 little heart gems.
Nearly time to go and collect the boys from school and it's decided to rain again - roll on the summer!

DCM Mid Week Tribute
The challenge at DCM this week is to make a card as a tribute to either Lynne or Gillian who have recently left the DT. I chose to make a card which I think is in the style of Lynne's work. Whilst looking through Lynne's blog I noticed that she used the Cuttlebug for embossing on a lot of her cards and also that a lot of her cards are very unfussy, so this is the card I have made. I stamped and coloured this cute hedgehog from Penny Black and layered the image onto 2 shades of pearl cardstock, the darker blue one has been embossed with the Cuttlebug. I have added Glossy Accents to the bow to make it nice and shiny and I also added 3 little heart gems for a little sparkle.
Hope Lynne thinks it's ok.

Ismaki Sketch #2
I have based this card on the sketch over at Ismaki. I have stamped and coloured the Tilda and put her on circles cut with Nestabilities dies. The sentiment is printed off the PC and is a Lisa Bearnson font. I have cut the flowers with the Cricut and than ran them through the Cuttlebug to get the embossed effect.
I'd best go and have some dinner as I got so into making this card I lost track of the time! Then I'm going to take the dog for a walk and guess what after a fairly nice dry morning the heavens have opened - looks like I'll be getting wet!

TMTA Photostamp Challenge
The challenge at TMTA this week is to use a photostamp on your ATC. I have stamped this stamp with Vintage Sepia Versafine ink and even though I have put the stamp onto EZ Mount I still put a paper pricking mat under the card before I stamp as I find this gives a better impression. If you don't have a paper pricking mat the underside of a mouse mat works just as well. I printed the word Love off the PC using a Lisa Bearnson font and I added 3 Prima flowers.

Birthday Tilda + Samm's Birthday Candy
Another Tilda card which I made earlier this week, it was for a challenge but it didn't quite work out for that so I used it for this card. The Tilda is stamped and coloured and I have matted her onto ovals cut with Nestabilities dies. I have added a few touches of glitter and used a black glaze pen on the poppers on her shoes.
Marlou has just reminded me of Samm's Birthday candy so if it's ok with Samm I will enter this card. happy Birthday to Samm and don't forget to pop over to her blog and see the fab cards she makes.
Yesterday morning when we took the dog out we noticed this icicle on the bin but we can't figure out how it was formed as there is nothing above it. Has anybody got any ideas?

DCM Me + My Shadow and Scrummy Stash Brads Challenges
I made these 2 cards for the DCM Me and My Shadow challenge and then realised they would also be fine for the Scrummy Stash Cafe brad challenge as well.
The challenge at DCM is to use the same materials to make 2 different cards. I have stamped and coloured this really cute rabbit by Penny Black and used papers from HOTP and Bazzill. I cut the flowers with the Cricut and added white brads.
My new magnolia stamps arrived from Sweden this morning, can't wait to have a play with them!

4x4 Friday Music Challenge
The challenge at 4x4 Friday this week is to use music on your work. I have used the Sugar Nellie guitar boy which I have stamped and coloured. I cut 3 stars with the Cricut and added 4 antique brads.
This challenge came at just right time as it's Grant's friends birthday this week and this card will be ideal.

Thank You card for Michelle's Blog Candy
I have made this card for Michelle's blog candy challenge. Michelle makes wonderful cards and you can visit her blog here.
I am having one of those days and it has taken me about 3 times as long to make a card and lots of things have gone in the bin! This is what I have eventually made. I'd like to thank Annie for the image of Tilda which I have coloured with Prismacolors and Sansador. I then cut out the ovals using Nestabilities and I have embossed the white one with the Cuttlebug, I also added glitter to the flowers and Tilda's wings.
I had to cut the Tilda out as I wasn't paying attention and coloured outside the lines!!

Bunny Card
I made this card this morning for no reason other than I wanted to use my new Penny Black Transparent stamps. The stamps are lovely but are a bit smaller than I thought. I stamped and coloured the bunny and then cut the circle and scalloped circle with the Spellbinders Nestabilities dies. I have added a drop of Glossy Accents to his nose to make it nice and shiny. The greetings stamp is by Hero Arts and the papers are from K + Co.

Chilled Out Hedgehog
I love this stamp from Penny Black as the hedgehog looks so chilled, roll on summer when we can join him sunbathing in the garden.
It's been quite nice here this morning but really cold, I even went outside and brushed up. I think I'm going to take the dog for a walk before the rain arrives.
Have a good day.

DCM LE New To Me Challenge
The little extra challenge at DCM is to use something which you had for Xmas on your card. I was lucky enough to get this really cute Penny Black stamp which I have coloured with Prismacolors. I also got some money and used some of it to buy a DCWV paper pack, the pink and green glittery patterned card is from this. The pink and white flowers are Primas. I couldn't find a green flower so I cut this one with the Cricut and I added a touch of glitter to the roses but it doesn't show up in the photo.

Ismaki Blog Sketch #1
This is another new challenge blog, you can visit it here. I have based this card on their first sketch. I have stamped and coloured the boy and guitar by Sugar Nellie and have added 3 stars cut with the George cartridge. I used a Lisa Bearnson font to print out the greeting.
I have made this card for the son of a friend from a forum I am a member of. Kieran is having open heart surgery in February and everyone on the forum is sending him a card so he can open them after his operation.

3 In 1 Challenge Card - DCM, Scrummy Stash Cafe + Scrap Dribbles
I made this card last night and it fits 3 challenges. I used the sketch from Scrap Dribbles, the theme from DCM which is new and the challenge from Scrummy Stash Cafe which is to use up some scraps.
I have stamped and coloured this really cute Stampendous stamp and used papers from the HOTP Citrus pack including some scraps left over from my hedgehog card which I made yesterday. The stars are cut with the George Cartridge using the Cricut. I added some Glossy Accents to the star on the dungarees and 3 gems.
Had a fab day yesterday did a bit of shopping as I had to take some jeans back to M+S why is it the sizes vary so much!! Anyway hubby treated me to some boots which I have been hankering after for a while, a gorgeous black leather pair of Ugg boots which are lined with sheepskin, they are so warm.

I have made this card for both the 4x4 challenge and the Beate Sketch #29. The stamp is by Penny Black which I have coloured with Prismacolors and Sansador and I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the blue paper, the other papers are from the HOTP Citrus pack. I have added a flower and some gems.

Shopping Day
We have to go shopping today as 3 out of the 4 kiddies need new school shoes - think it'll be expensive!! We've decided to go to Hanley as when we looked in town the other day there was nothing the boys liked/ Can't say I#'m looking forward to it at all. Doubt I'll get any challenge cards made today as we'll probably be out most of the day. Here's a quick card which I made last night for Kerry's friend, another Tilda, stamped and coloured with Prismacolors and Sansador and a few added heart gems.

ArtyGirlz Embossing Challenge
The challenge at ArtyGirlz is to use embossing on your project, this can either be dry or heat embossing. I stamped and coloured the Tilda stamp with Prismacolours and Sansador and put her on a circle of card which I edged with Butterscotch ink. The circles are cut with Nestabilities dies from Spellbinders and have an embossed edge. I cut the stars with the Cricut George Cartridge and embossed them with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and added buttons and some raffia.

CPS Sketch #45
I have based this card on the sketch over at CPS. I stamped this image before Xmas but have only just got round to using it. The stamp is by Sugar Nellie and I have coloured it with Prismacolors and Sansador. I have added Glossy Accents to the star on the boys T Shirt and the knobs on the guitar (don't know anything about guitars!!) and a few adhesive star gems for a bit of bling. Sorry the picture is bad but it is so grey here, must be the start of the bad weather we have been forecast.

Anniversary Card
I hope you all had a good New Years Eve and are having a nice day today. We had a bit of a shock this morning as Harvey the dog who we walk in the evenings with our dog Honey was taken ill this morning and is at the vets, they think he might of had a heart attack and might also have a twisted gut. I do hope he will be ok as he is only young about 6 and is such a lovely dog who is always so pleased to see you.
This is an anniversary card which I have made for a friend of mine. The stamp is from Penny Black and I have added glitter to the roses and 3 heart gems.
