Another Card!

I managed to get another card made yesterday although I forgot to take a photo of it, so I had to do it quickly this morning before Al took it to school. This explains the shocking photo!
I have welded another panel together on the Gypsy for the shaped card and added a couple of layers. The papers are Magnolia and the stamp is from Sugar Nellie.
Its back to work for me tonight and I'm not in until 23.00 so I'm hoping we don't get anymore snow or I wont want to go out!!! Have a fab day and weekend (I'll be sleeping through most of it unfortunately).

Sugar Nellie 'Country Style'

I got a couple of new stamps from Funky Kits the other day and 1 was this gorgeous 'Country Style' stamp from their Home Grown range. I have coloured the image with Copics and used some old Paper Adventures papers which I found in my stash.

Cute Card Thursday 'Marshmallows + Chocolate' Challenge

This weeks challenge at Cute Card Thursday is another colour challenge, you have to use pink and brown on your card. I have made a tag card using Basic Grey papers and Sugar Nellie stamps.

I had my Easter pressie a few days early, my hubby got me a Wizard machine, I can't believe how much easier the new version is to use and the embossing on the Nesties is much better than with the Cuttlebug (and a lot quicker!!).

Giant Pegs + Sketch Saturday 35

I have decorated these pegs for the craft shop but forgot to put them on my blog!! I am getting so forgetful. I have used Basic Grey papers to cover the pegs and just added a few extra embellishments. The pegs are about 6" high and would make a great alternative to a birthday card or for holding notes or just for keeping the washing on the line in very windy weather!!This is my card based on the sketch at Sketch Saturday. I have used another Tilda from the Love Collection 09, isn't she cute and coloured her using Prismacolours. The new Magnolia Collection will be available from Sir Stampalot later today.Supplies

Cute Card Thursday 'Buttons + Bows' Challenge
The challenge at Cute Card Thursday this week is to use buttons and bows on your card. I have coloured this fab image which Dawny P sent to me with Pro Markers and a Sakura clear stardust pen (the pic doesn't show all the shimmer). The fibres have been tied in a knot (halfway to a bow!!) and the scrummy papers are from Cosmo Cricket and I have stamped Basic Grey swirls over the spotty paper.
Deb is having a blogging break until the New Year so I'll continue to run CCT but on my own. It has been great fun running the challenges with Deb and I hope she will be back with us soon.

A Spoonfull of Sugar 'Christmas is Coming' Challenge
The challenge at A Spoonfull of Sugar this week is to make a Christmas Card. This is perfect challenge for me as this is 1 of the cards which I taught at Craft Class last night. The scrolls and other pieces have been cut with the Storybook cartridge for the Cricut.

A Spoonful Of Sugar 'Celebrations' Challenge
This weeks challenge at A Spoonful Of Sugar is to make a card for any type of celebration. My card is a bit of a cheat as I made it at the weekend for my class tonight (hope they like making it) but I thought it would make a great birthday card for a little boy.

Papertakes Sketch Challenge
The challenge at Papertakes this week is a fab sketch by Katharina. For my card I used 1of the new Sugar Nellie stamps which I have coloured with Prismacolors and Sansador. The greeting is by Autumn Leaves and I added 3 Basic Grey buttons. The green card has been embossed with the Cuttlebug.
I made this card for my son's birthday as he is 11 today.

ArtyGirlz Stars Challenge
The challenge at ArtyGirlz this week is stars. I have made an ATC and this stamp by Sugar Nellie seems perfect for the theme of stars. I have stamped and coloured the image and added 3 stars which are a Magnolia stamp. The papers are from Bo Bunny and the sentiment is printed off the PC.

4x4 Friday Wild West Challenge
The challenge at 4x4 Friday this week is the Wild West. I have used the Sugar Nellie cowboy again as he is so cute. I coloured the image with Prismacolors and Sansador and put Glossy Accents on the stars on his outfit. The greeting is printed off the PC using a Lisa Bearnson font and the brown star is a Magnolia image, with a piece of garden string on it.

DCM Doodling + Sweet Sugar Challenge 1
I have made this card for both challenges. I had the image stamped and coloured for the Sweet Sugar challenge of stars and stripes when I saw the DCM challenge so I added some doodling. The Sugar Nellie boy is coloured with Prismacolors and Sansador and I have added 3 little black star gems. The sentiment is printed with a Dymo machine. This card will be ideal for my mum to give to Grant on his 11th birthday in March.

I have made this ATC to combine 2 challenges, the TMTA geometry challenge and the new challenge blog at UK Scrappers for projects using Sugar Nellie stamps. Their challenge this week is checks, why not pop over to their blog and check it out - haha. The link is here.
I have stamped the Sugar Nellie cowboy and coloured him with Prismacolors and Sansador and used papers from HOTP. I printed the words using my Dymo and added the string which was from the tag on my new jeans.

Ismaki Blog Sketch #1
This is another new challenge blog, you can visit it here. I have based this card on their first sketch. I have stamped and coloured the boy and guitar by Sugar Nellie and have added 3 stars cut with the George cartridge. I used a Lisa Bearnson font to print out the greeting.
I have made this card for the son of a friend from a forum I am a member of. Kieran is having open heart surgery in February and everyone on the forum is sending him a card so he can open them after his operation.

CPS Sketch #45
I have based this card on the sketch over at CPS. I stamped this image before Xmas but have only just got round to using it. The stamp is by Sugar Nellie and I have coloured it with Prismacolors and Sansador. I have added Glossy Accents to the star on the boys T Shirt and the knobs on the guitar (don't know anything about guitars!!) and a few adhesive star gems for a bit of bling. Sorry the picture is bad but it is so grey here, must be the start of the bad weather we have been forecast.
