Tilda has been coloured with Distress Inks. The flower has been distressed and I have sprayed it with Glimmer Mist so it is really sparkly but it doesn't show up in the photo.
Have a good Monday.

Cute Card Thursday + Magnolia Down Under
This weeks challenge at Cute Card Thursday is to have lots of glitter on your card and I have made my card following the sketch at Magnolia Down Under. I have used another of last year's Christmas Magnolia stamps, this one is Edwin Skiing and is one of my favourites. I have coloured the image with Distress Inks (again!!) and used some old Basic Grey papers. The label and snowflakes have been cut with Nesties and the Wizard and the swirl and border are EK Success punches. I have run the lighter green paper through the Cuttlebug with the script embossing folder and then sanded it a bit. The glitter is on the smallest snowflake and under Edwin's feet but it doesn't show up in the photo. I hope you'll be able to join in this weeks challenge as the DT cards are all gorgeous and we have a fab prize for one lucky winner.
Tilly didn't like the idea of going out yesterday, she got no further than a few steps from the back door, not that I blame her as it was so cold.Supplies

Sketch Saturday + Everybody Art Challenge
Well I'm on a roll with the challenges this week, it must be the distress inks!! This card uses the current sketch at Sketch Saturday and also fits the Everybody Art challenge which is distressing. I have used another of the older Magnolia Xmas images and papers from Basic Grey. I have stamped the Magnolia Silent Night background on the oval and then distressed it using Broken China and Antique Linen ink pads. Tilda has been coloured with Distress inks and the border is punched with an EK Success punch. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts clear set and I have added a flower and leaves cut with a Martha Stewart punch.
Have a good Wednesday. I am a bit worried because Tilly is going outside for the first time today as she had her stitches removed last night. So I will be lurking by the back door all day!!Supplies

Dutch Dare 'Felt' Challenge
It's so long since I have joined in any challenges as my mojo went missing big time!! It seems to have returned now and I have got back into card making again. I made this card for the Dutch Dare challenge which is to use felt on your card. I am loving using Distress Inks, they are fab and here is another card coloured with them. The circles have been cut with Nesties and I have distressed the paper and sprayed the rose with Glimmer Mist. The little green flower is felt and the pine branch is cut with a Mc Gill punch.
I am planning on having a card making day tomorrow assuming Tilly gets off my desk, she loves sitting there whilst I am crafting but has to play with everything!!

Cute Card Thursday 'Primary Colours' Challenge
The challenge at Cute Card Thursday is to use primary colours on your card. I think my card might just about be ok as I have used mainly red, a little blue on the flower and Edwin's jeans and there is a tiny bit of yellow on the flame in the lantern!!
To make the little scene I stamped Edwin With Christmas Lantern onto the the label which I cut using the Story Book Cartridge and the Cricut. I then masked Edwin and stamped the Winter Fence so it looks like it is in the background. I coloured the image with Distress Inks and added some Glimmer Mist to Edwin's wings and Glamour Dust for some sparkle. The flowers and swirls are cut with EK Success punches and the pine branch is from McGill. I am really enjoying colouring with Distress Inks, although I'm sure the Copics will reappear again soon!
Have a good Thursday!

Stamps: Magnolia - Edwin With Christmas Lantern, Winter Fence, Hero Arts - Sentiment
