CCT What A Gem

This weeks theme at CCT is What A Gem. I have made a very quick and simple card using an old Penny Black stamp which I have had for about 13 years! I stamped the image with Memento and coloured it with Copics. The sentiment is another Penny Black stamp and I added some gems to the flower centers.

I hope you'll be able to join in this weeks challenge as we have another great prize.

CCT Lots of Love

It's Thursday again so time for another CCT challenge which this week is Lots of Love, so it's just in time for all those Valentines cards. I have made another tag, I seem to make more tags than cards these days. I cut the tag with a Tim Holtz die and used Recollections papers. I cut the hearts with another Tim Holtz die out of the paper and then twice more out of chipboard so they are quite thick. I inked all the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and added Glossy Accents to the small heart so it's nice and shiny. The tag is finished off with a piece of twine and crinkle ribbon and I also machine stitched around the DP. Hopefully hubby won't look at my blog this week as I thought this would be perfect for his Valentine's card.

Happy New Year, I hope you had a great Christmas.
This weeks challenge at CCT is Banish The Blues. I have used some very old stamps for my card  which I have coloured with Copics. The papers are Kaisercraft and the swirl is a Tonic die which I have cut down. Apologies for the poor photo but the weather is vile here today and its about the best I could manage.

I hope you can join in this weeks challenge as we have a fab prize from Bunny Zoe Crafts.

CCT Anything Goes

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and got lots of nice pressies. We have a nice and easy theme at CCT this week, Anything Goes. I have painted a wooden 'Love' ornament with acrylic paint and then stamped a few Stampin Up images onto it. The butterfly is a X Cut punch which I have covered with Fran-tage and I have added a few paper flowers. I'm really pleased with how this has turned out especially as it only cost £2 to buy.

CCT Celebrations

The theme at CCT this week is Celebrations and seeing as I'm so far behind with my Christmas card making I have decided to make another 1 for this challenge. I have used the Stampin Up Joyful Christmas set again and also the Gorgeous Grunge set in the background. The border is a Martha Stewart punch and the swirls are EK Success.

CCT Christmas Catch Up

This weeks theme at CCT is Christmas Catch Up. I have made another Christmas card with my Stampin Up Joyful Christmas stamp set and a Stampin Up embossing border folder. I stamped the image onto Crumb Cake card,  coloured it with white ink and then Stampin Up markers to get a very pale watery effect. The sentiment is also stamped and embossed in white.

We had a lovely time in Budapest, the markets were great and we managed a lot of sightseeing as well. Its back to work now and I think the next couple of weeks will be very busy so it looks like I'm going to have to buy most of my cards this year!

CCT Anything But A Card

The challenge at CCT this week is Anything but a Card. I have decorated a gift box which I got from Stampin Up with an old Magnolia Santa stamp. I think this is my favourite Christmas stamp and I use it every year. The DP is retired Stampin Up and I have distressed the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.I coloured the image with Distress Inks and also edged the die cut circle with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I have also added some Fran-tage to the image.
I have decorated the sides of the box with some hessian and lace and added a small tag which I cut with a Tim Holtz sizzix die. The message on the tag was stamped with a set of alphabet stamps which I got from the NEC about 5 years ago, they were a bargain at £1 for the set. This is the first time I've used them but I'm sure they will get lots more use now. The little jingle bells are from Ebay.

I really enjoyed decorating the box and am hoping to do a few more for Christmas pressies.

I am also entering this into this weeks Magnolia Down Under Challenge which is Jingles Bells and the Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge which is Vintage or Shabby Chic.
