Magnolia Card

This is a card I made for no reason other than I wanted to use some of my new MME papers and Martha Stewart Hydrangea punches. The papers are fab, I love the colours and I found this Tilda in my box (it has never been used!).
We went over to Once Upon A Stamp yesterday to see them demoing the new Just Rite Nestie stamps, they looked really good and I am looking forward to seeing the Xmas ones which will be available for pre order from their website soon. They also have all of the new release Nesties in stock so I just had to get a couple!!

Cute Card Thursday 'Lazy Dayz' Challenge - Surf Tilda Suitcase Card

This weeks challenge at Cute Card Thursday is Lazy Dayz. I have used some of the new stamps from the Lazy Summer Days collection by Magnolia, I love these stamps and they are such fun to colour in. I thought they were perfect for a suitcase style card and I have added an insert and stand to the card. I have an idea for a male version of this card using some older Magnolia stamps and hopefully I will get time to make 1 next week! I am still having trouble taking photos, I think it is time to start saving for a new camera!

Tilda + Friends 'Cheers' Challenge + A Spoon Full of Sugar 'Travel' Challenge

This weeks challenge at Tilda and Friends is 'Cheers' we would like to see anything drink related on your ATC. I have used the Edwin with Cocktails stamp from Magnolia and some scrummy MME papers. The letters have been cut with a Quickutz alphabet set, I think it might be called Khaki?
I have actually managed to make a challenge card rather than just my DT ones this week and it is for A Spoon Full of Sugar's 'Travel' challenge. I have used Edwin with Bicycle (can't you tell I just love using Edwin images, he is fab) and some Cosmo Cricket papers.

Papertakes 100th Challenge

Wow this week is the 100 Papertakes Challenge, I can't believe there have been so many and I have been in the DT since the beginning on 1st Oct 2007. To celebrate this weeks challenge is to pick your favourite Papertakes challenge from the last 99 and to use it for your card. I have chosen a challenge from May 25th this year 'Scrap This' to use up some of your scraps on your card. Magnolia Down Under 'Father's Day' Challenge

This weeks challenge at Magnolia Down Under is to make a father's day card. I have cheated a bit as we had father's day in the UK in June so I made a card which I used for my hubby's birthday. I have used Tyrolean Edwin again - I love this stamp and some Basic Grey papers and I have added Liquid Applique to make the beer 'frothy'.
We had a great week in Wales and the weather wasn't too bad at all, we managed 3 days on the beach and I even had a swim in the sea!! I am hoping for some more good weather so I can get through the mountain of washing!Supplies

Tilda and Friends 'Glitter' ATC

The challenge at Tilda and Friends this week is to use glitter on your ATC. I have used another of the wonderful new range of Magnolia stamps, this is Gloria The Hippo, isn't she cute. I have added lots of glitter to her clothes but the camera didn't really catch it - I must get a new one when I have saved up as this one keeps turning itself on and making everybody jump!

Magnolia DT 'Surf Tilda' Card

Here is another DT card which I have made for Magnolia using the stamps from the new Lazy Summer Days collection. I love the background stamp as it is so versatile and this is such a sweet Tilda.

My first card is for this weeks Papertake challenge which is 'The Four Seasons', to use colours which remind us of a certain season. Magnolia DT, Papertake and Tilda and Friends Challenges

Well I don't post anything for nearly a week and then just like the buses 3 come along at once!!!

The first 2 cards are for this weeks Papertake challenge, I had already made the Tilda and Horse card when my Magnolia DT kit with the new Lazy Summer Days stamps arrived so I decided to make another card using Dawns fab sketch. The new stamps are so cute and I love Tilda's new hairdo - I have just had a change to mine as well, short and dark red!!
